Wedding Selections

Included in all  selections

Starting with the groom, then at the Bride’s home. At both locations Alex will capture a series of Black & White or Colour photographs that show the “real day” and you both getting ready, complete with the champagne, nerves, odd tear or two plus all the emotion that is so much present just prior to your wedding. He also takes a short while, that is all, to take a few formal colour images of the bride and groom and their respective families and attendants.

At the church or the location of the ceremony he will photograph the arrival of the Groom and attendants, the waiting crowd, so often present and the atmosphere of anticipation prior to the Bride’s arrival. Her arrival followed by the Bridesmaids and of course the shots of the groom waiting nervously are very important.

The ceremony, regardless of religion, needs to be captured with quiet professionalism. Important images of the ceremony need to be obtained so as to record such an important occasion but need to be captured in such a way that at no point in time do your family and friends even notice Alex or hear his cameras being used. Alex will photograph during the ceremony without flash, and with discretion.

Once outside the church or when the ceremony is over it’s time to be congratulated, time to duck the rose petals, rice or the confetti. It’s an ideal opportunity for Alex to get those pictures of the relief on your faces and the excitement of family and friends as the kisses and hugs flow. He does not intrude but observes and records.

After a few family groups it’s off to the locations of your choice with just the bridal party. It could be a park, the beach or an old home, anywhere you feel relaxed, and that is in keeping with the theme of your wedding. It's time to relax, enjoy a champagne and have photographs taken that are natural and fun. Unlike most photographers, Alex likes to take the majority of your photographs un-posed and candid. The time after the church and before the reception is for you to relax and have some private time with your bridal party whilst he captures a few special images of the bridal couple and attendants. Most of these you will not even see him take..........but they will be “real” images.

Upon our return to the reception Alex will often take a series of photographs prior to you being seated for your meal. Alex can also take some photographs of you and special guests prior to a set up shot of you cutting the cake.

Finally a few pictures of the bride and groom saying their goodbye and that completes you selection.
